GAS LEAK ASSIGNMENT AT THE FIREHOUSE! AND A TANKER RUN
Thu, Jul 1st, 2010 6:10:00 pm - Around 13:52 hrs, Members had an odor of gas in the firehouse. Upon further investigation members found the gas meter had fallen off. Lt. 7-9-1 advised LCWC of an active gas leak and established the 7-9 command. Command 7-9 requested UGI to the scene as well as a first alarm building assignment. UGI arrived with-in minutes and controlled the leak. After the meter was replaced, Command 7-9 held the assignment to Station 7-9 and Engine 41-1 (Wrightsville).  

 16:32 Hrs, Tanker 7-9 was alerted to 4418 Marietta Ave for a reported brush fire. Deputy 7-6 and Chief 7-6 arrived with a working brush fire. Tanker 7-9 arrived and fed Engine 8-4-1 with water. Crews extinguished the fire and Command placed the incident under control at 17:41 Hrs.
