Tuesday- To start the storm off Company 7-9 was dispatched for Vehicle Accident in the area of 743 and 441. Rescue 7-9 responded with a crew of 5. Deputy 7-9 (Mohr) arrived with one vehicle over an embankment, no injuries. Deputy 7-9 placed the box in service. As the Rescue was making their way back to the station, LCWC advised them of a 2nd crash involving multiple vehicles at Rockpoint Road and Anderson ferry Road. Chief 7-9, and the Deputy arrived with 4 vehicles off the road, no injuries. Fire department services were not needed; Fire police had the roadway shut down until the vehicles were removed.
Wednesday- 09:43 Medical Assist
11:26- 2146 Oak Hollow Drive for an Apartment Building Fire. Engine 7-9-2 was placed in service after Chief 7-6-2 arrived with an oven fire that was extinguished.
12:00- 2308 River Road for a Building Collapse with Entrapment. Rescue 7-9 went with 6 personnel, along with the Chief and the Deputy. Units from 7-1 were advised of a structure collapse one patient still inside. Crews arrived to confirm that the patient was extracted by farm hands; Rescue 7-9 arrived and assisted EMS and 7-1 with patient care.
12:29- While crews were still on the first building collapse, Deputy 7-9 was advised of a 2nd Structural Collapse at 2160 River Road. Chief 7-9 and Deputy 7-9 arrived with a 21x40 Barn that has collapsed. Once the utilities were controlled, Chief 7-9 placed units in service.
Thursday- 05:00 hrs, Medical Assist for a Cold Exposure subject.
07:58 hrs Squad 7-9 went to Rockpoint Road to assist the Police Department with a disabled vehicle stuck in a snow drift.
08:23 hrs, while the Squad crew was still assisting the Police Department on Rockpoint Road, Deputy 7-9 was advised by LCWC of a roof collapse on Endslow Road. Deputy (Mohr) arrived to find a chicken house that has collapsed, and no fire department services were needed.
11:45 hrs, Vehicle Lock-Out
12:09 hrs, Disabled Vehicle on Bullmoose Road
13:18 hrs, Public Service
16:45 hrs, Medical Assist
Friday- 3 Medical Calls
Saturday- 3:18 hrs, 721 Ducktown Road (Hellam Township) for a Dwelling fire. Chief 21 arrived with a working fire on the first floor. Due the amount of snow still covering the driveway to the residence it made it difficult to access. Chief 21 had to utilize 4x4 Attack Vehicles to make it to the fire. Engine, and Rescue's crew arrived and was sent to the bottom of the lane where they staged all units. Command 21 placed the box available at 06:00 hrs.
7:52 hrs, Company 7-9 was alerted to 2605 Maytown Road a Vehicle Accident. Deputy 7-9 arrived with one vehicle into a pole, Medic 7-4-9 had patient care already established. Rescue 7-9 and the Engine arrived and assisted EMS with patient care. Once the patient was in care of EMS, Deputy 7-9 placed the box available. |
