To start the day off, Company 7-9, and Engine 7-1-2 were dispatched to Airport Road in the area of Colebrook Road for a vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer. Chief 7-9-2 (Brinser) arrived with a tractor trailer vs. a car, 2 patients with injuries from airbags. Rescue 7-9 arrived and de-powered both vehicles; Patients were in care of EMS at 07:32 hrs.
10:32 Hrs, Company 7-9 along with Engine 7-1-2 responded to 1555 River Road at Eddie Waste for an Auto Alarm. Engine 7-9-2 arrived with normal conditions from the exterior. The source of the alarm was from unattended cooking, Engine 7-9-2 placed the box available at 10:43 hrs.
13:48 Hrs, Company 7-9 along with Engine 7-11-2 were alerted to Route 743 and Bullmoose Road for a Vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue 7-9 arrived with one vehicle on its roof, one patient that was self extricated. The Rescue then established the 7-9 Command holding the response to just the Rescue. The patient refused medical attention; crews remained on the scene until the vehicle was cleared from the roadway.
