To start the day off, Rescue 79 was dispatched on a 7-19 Dwelling assignment in the area of Prospect Road and Broad Street. Rescue 79 responded with 6. Chief 7-19 arrived in the area to find a camp fire in the front yard.
Crash #1 At 07:15 Hrs Company 7-9 and Rescue 41-2 (York County) Engine 7-10-1 were alerted to Route 441 and Ore Mine Road for a Vehicle Accident Class 2. Deputy 7-9 (Mohr) arrived and advised Communications of a 2 car crash, one patient entrapped. Rescue 7-9 arrived and preformed a 2 door swing to extricate the patient. Patient was in care of EMS with-in a couple minutes. Units cleared the assignment at 08:04 Hrs.
Crash # 2 At 17:06 Hrs Rescue 7-9 was dispatched for Vehicle accident Stand-By on Route 441 and 772. Rescue 7-9 arrived and assisted the Police Department.
Crash # 3 As Crews were assisting the Police Department on Crash #2 A tractor Trailer pulled onto 772 and side swiped 2 vehicles. Rescue 79 remained on the scene.
Crash # 4 Just as the Rescue was returned to the Station, Deputy 7-10 arrived upon a crash on Route 23 and Route 441. Deputy 7-9 arrived with a 3 vehicle crash, one patient to be checked out class 3. Rescue 79 arrived and de-powered 2 of the 3 vehicles and controlled all fluid hazards on the roadway. |
